Senior Living Team at Leading Age

In March, the BLDD Senior Living Team attended the Leading Age Illinois conference. While there, the team presented How to Use Informed Data to Choose The Best Master Plan for Your Community. Through the presentation, the team discussed how BLDD’s very own QLEO Software is breaking into the Senior Living market!

Scott Likins, AIA, NCARB

As a BLDD Principal and Director of BLDD’s Senior Living Design Group, Scott is a master of delivering complex projects within tight schedules. As a principal for BLDD, Scott specializes in mentoring and directing teams to ensure your project dreams become a reality.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, who love to fish, play baseball, and golf.

Chris Lee

As Project Designer, Chris takes a special interest in ensuring everyone’s voice is heard. He strives to not only meet client expectations but exceed them.

Chris is an owner’s advocate and helps to educate them about what to expect from lighting, acoustics, colors, materials, and systems. His goal is to always build a relationship with the owner and deliver an excellent project.

When he isn’t going above and beyond in the office, Chris enjoys getting outdoors, cooking without recipes, and improvising jazz and blues on his saxophone.

Emiel Guede, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Emiel enjoys the multi-faceted project experiences that working at BLDD offers. He is passionate about building science and enjoys creating details that are both energy-efficient and sustainable while also enhancing the overall building design.

In his free time, Emiel enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring many of Chicago’s great restaurants.

Rachel Emmons

Cost/Benefit (QLEO) Analyst Rachel Emmons is a data-driven expert who excels at analyzing the numbers and metrics of communities to provide a clear vision for the best solutions.

With a keen mind for numbers and a knack for creative problem-solving, she plays a valuable role in developing and performing QLEO analyses, BLDD’s cost/benefit tool for master plan solutions.

When she isn’t analyzing numbers, Rachel enjoys playing games with her daughters and doing crafty projects.
